This classic silk saree is handwoven in Molkalmuru, Karnataka in a stunning black body and ganga jamuna borders in deep green and maroon red. The plain saree body has been embellished with Kasuti motifs by our artisans in Dharwad, Karnataka. 

The history of Kasuti dates back to the Chalukya period and the name Kasuti is derived from the words Kai (meaning hand) and Suti/suttu (meaning wrap/weave), indicating an activity that is done using cotton and hands. 

Approximate Length - 5.5 meters + 0.7 meters (attached blouse )

Height - 46 inches
